5-minute bedtime stories
Short bedtime stories you can actually finish. Every one takes about five minutes, most of them less.
Every story on this page is short on purpose. The longest is about five minutes out loud, the shortest are closer to two. Word counts are on every card, so you know exactly what you're committing to before the light goes off.
You can read them to your kid, of course. But the easy ones are written so a beginning reader can manage them alone — which means the bedtime story can also go the other way: your kid reads, you listen. It's a lovely way to end a day, and five minutes is short enough that it ends well.
